hot peppers and toilet paper

This evening, I put on my old MEC fleece to head out to coffee with Tara Hare and Vader. I guess I have not worn this particular jacket in a while because as I was gathering myself to leave, I felt something in the pocket. I reached in to see what it was (hoping it was long fogotten and much needed money), and pulled out a crisp, uncrinkled receipt. I did something I don't normally do, and instead of just throwing it straight in the trash, I looked at the date.

The receipt was from this date exactly a year ago.

Funny thing is, looking at what I bought, I remember this day very clearly.
