sum summa

The Last few weeks of my life have looked somewhat like this (in no particular order):

Visit with Johanna and Anr at the latter's beach house, visit from Kate, a night spent at the PNE with Lee, a weekend visit with Ilia, a block party, thought about quitting my job, thought about finding a way to get fired from my job, broke my computer, got a new computer, visited my 97 year old grandfather in the hospital, been a good friend, gone to Calgary to visit Kate, gone on a couple of bad dates, gone on a couple of good dates, registered for school, saw my brother for the first time all summer, cried for no reason, lounged in the sun, got drunk, took 500 photos in one day, and, for once, spent a weekend in Vancouver.

All in all it has been a jam packed end to the summer and now, as the leaves are turning, all I feel like doing is curling up with a book or movie and not being seen. I won't though.
At least not every day.

I apologize for the lacklusterness (is that a word?) of my blog as of late. I promise it won't stay that way if you stick around. I wouldn't do that.

And now, off to my first class, "Writing for Children".

Tomorrow is "Short Fiction". My instructors name is Fabrizio Napoleone. And that is why I'm taking the course.
